It was built in 1906, heaven only knows when electricity was first added and when it was it was knob-and-tube; later an addition to the house in the 1970's or so; and still later a kitchen remodel with new wiring installed.We had a hodgepodge, some rooms with only one outlet, others with plugs in odd or inaccessible places, and lights that dimmed around the house whenever we ran the microwave, dishwasher, or washer and dryer.We'd made due for 21 years in the house and after an outlet fried from overload we bit the bullet and moved forward.Mirsky was FANTASTIC. Working with the office team to get a quote, schedule, and get questions answered was easy, and the team that worked on our home for eight days (!) was efficient, diligent, friendly, good at explaining what they were finding and what choices we had to make. Our project manager, on site each day and wonderfully knowledgeable, was True, and we were ready to adopt him by the time the project wrapped up.We felt well-informed through the entire process and are thrilled with our new multitude of outlets and pretty new light fixtures they installed, not to mention bringing our whole home up to code for safety. We're sleeping better with peace of mind.And because no job of this size ever goes perfectly, it's telling that when a few things did go sideways (a hole accidentally drilled in our hardwood floors, a broken light fixture), the team was quick to inform us and offer remediation. The hole in the floor was fixed at Mirsky's expense (their insistence), the sconce reimbursed and when the replacement arrived it was cheerfully installed without cost.Highly recommend Mirsky. Mirsky did such a great job with replacing our electrical panel in our 1950s home and installing a new outdoor outlet to allow us to safely charge an electric vehicle. Throughout the process, they were communicative, patient, and never condescending or patronizing with our many electrical-related questions. Can't recommend them enough!

A few weeks ago, I ruined an electrical outlet in my house to the point where leaving it unattended was dangerous. I called Mirsky Electric in Ballard thinking that in light of how busy electricians often are, I might have to wait a long time for an appointment. Surprise! Mirsky electricians were able to replace the outlet within 24 hours of my initial contact with them. The electricians who came to my house were prompt, informative, skilled, efficient, respectful and kind. They replaced the outlet in record time! After researching multiple companies, we hired Mirsky Electric to rewire our old knob and tube system, replace outlets and switches, install new outlets, and install a new, larger electrical panel. We were very happy with their work on our project and will definitely use them again in the future. I appreciated that they were upfront about their pricing and stayed within budget overall. Mirsky Electric has done a couple of panel and service replacements for us. They have been consistently professional, competent and easy to work with. I would give them more stars, but five is the max I can do!

With the recent addition of two electric cars here in our household we determined it was time to have a Level 2 charger installed. We have always had excellent service from Mirsky Electric so we reached out to them for an estimate and this past week had the work completed. The installation went smoothly and the electrician who did the work was informative and friendly throughout the process. He completed the work on time and everything came in on budget, not one penny over! The new charger, a Wallbox Pulsar Plus, works great and we highly recommend Mirsky Electric for this or any other kind of home electrical needs. We will definitely use them again when the need arises.
