Our Hot Tub & Spa Electrical Installation Process

Our process ensures the long-term performance of your hot tub. We follow a detailed approach every step of the way so your job is completed to the highest standard:

1. Initial Assessment and Planning

We start by assessing your electrical system to see if it can handle the additional load. We will discuss  the preferred location of the hot tub and then plan for the most cost effective and efficient wiring route to run conduit and wire. We may have to run wiring through an attic, crawl space, or garage depending on the main panel location and distance to the hot tub.

2. Estimate

You will be provided with a detailed estimate of the work we will perform. This includes our labor, material, scope of work, permits, tax, and total cost. Once the estimate has been accepted our Service Manager will schedule a time that is convenient for you.

3. Installation and Setup

Our licensed electricians will greet you upon arrival and go through the details of the job. The majority of the work will be done on the outside, however we may need to enter the house to access the electrical panel, crawl space, and/or attic. Our electricians come prepared with booties to protect your floor and have experience keeping your house neat and tidy.  We will handle every aspect of the installation, from  running dedicated circuits to connecting your hot tub to a GFCI-protected disconnect.

4. Final Safety Check

Once we've completed the installation, we will test the Ground Fault system to ensure it functions safely. This step will give you peace of mind that your hot tub’s electrical setup meets local electrical codes and our high standards.

5. Inspection and Invoice

An electrical inspection will be scheduled to verify the work was done to code and the workmanship is up to standard. The electrical inspection will notify us once the inspection has been performed. We then send out an invoice for final payment.
